Bought computer parts for a good price more than once and also got free support from him multiple times, not even related to what i bought. I have also never been disappointed. A big thank you and keep up the good work.

To summarize, Emmanuel Gabriel Prud'homme for me was full of bluster and promises but at the first opportunity he tried the extort extra cash beyond what had been agreed, he was incapable of diagnosing any specifics (ie, xyw on the motherboard has an issue) simply the board is dead (when it was not), and kept trying to sell me a compatible motherboard he wanted to sell. When confronted over his incorrect diagnosis that cost me hundreds of dollars, Expert Emmanuel blamed me and hit the FB block button.Others have written great reviews but in my case, based on the facts, that’s not something I can do.--I was in a real jam and unable to solve a non booting pc issue. Emmanuel kindly allowed me to send over the PC via Uber promising to have a look at it later that night and saying it would cost no more than $75.A little later I got a message from Emmanuel saying he had a headache and would look at it the next day in the afternoon. This was defiantly not the agreement so I wrote back saying we had agreed it would be this evening. Emmanuel wrote back saying if it was urgent then it would cost more - again not what was agreed.He had a look at the PC, his diagnosis was that the motherboard was dead. I don’t know if this was his tactic to try again to sell me the compatible motherboard he had for sale. I wasn’t comfortable with the way this had played out so I was not willing to then reward him by purchasing his $400+ motherboard. With the dead motherboard diagnosis I immediately ordered a new motherboard elsewhere.Emmanuel must have been feeling apprehensive as would not put the machine back in an Uber till he had his $75 + tax, he relented on the extortion tactic profiting from my urgency to charge more. When I asked for the tax invoice he refunded the tax I had paid.Emmanuel charged me $75 for nary an hours work - but with all the re-negotiating as he pointed out it was 1h30min. The PC was put back in the Uber I sent and thankfully I recovered my drives with clients files on.48 hours later, looking in the PC case I could see it had not been taken apart as I was led to believe, I decided to have one last shot at this situation so I took everything apart myself and piece by piece rebuilt the PC. This is what Emmanuel should have done to diagnose correctly but did not do. With the minimum reconnected I powered on the system and presto - it booted.I was relieved but furious to have been taken for a ride by a charlatan, some might say an incompetent dishonest profiteer. Emnmanuel had cost me another motherboard, another days work lost and two Ubers, with low expectations - I asked him for my money back.Emmanuel responded, blaming me saying I had done something wrong - it was not his fault. Quite how Emmanuel the expert managed to twist his error/lack of throughness/short cuts into being the client's (my) fault is Cirque du Soleil contortionist worthy. It was a very simple case, he was supposed to diagnose the machine that evening. Simply swapping a few ram chips around and spraying some compressed air could be viewed as either lazy or incompetent. His stated (and incorrect) diagnosis that the board was dead then cost me hundreds of dollars in additional expense. When confronted over his incorrect diagnosis rather than assume any responsibility he simply blocked me on Facebook.I feel Emmanuel could have taken more time on the computer concerned and less time on trying to extract more cash. Had he solved the issue within the established parameters I would have gladly brought him more business.I also feel that Emmanuel needs to cool it with all the adolescent lol’s and haha’s when faced with a stressed client, me losing work or even clients is not a laughing matter. I would have preferred he be more serious in the face of urgency. He came across like a questionable used car salesman rather than an IT professional.There’s a lot of nice reviews for Emmanuel, I wish mine had been another. I hope he learns from this and improves.

Awesome service every time ! Grizzly Tech found me the laptop i wanted at the price wanted to pay, i use it everyday and it works perfectly. He also fixed my older laptops multiple times, the service is always fast and the guy is really sweet, he takes the time to explain everything to a girl who doesn't know much about computers. :)And his prices are by far the best you will find in Montréal !!!
